Bee a Queen Mandala Teachings

12 x 12 inch canvas hand painted with acrylic paint, gold leaf and sealed with resin for long lasting protection and high gloss mirrored finish.

I had a little break from painting whilst I was on holiday. 6 weeks break actually because I had been on holiday. I really wanted to get back to it, 6 weeks of not painting is a long time for me.

I sort of had an idea of what to paint. I knew it was a black background! From there it began to evolve.

Within a few hours of working on this BEE-U-TI-FUL mandala I was engrossed with my head down, when suddenly a single white feather landed on the canvas in front of me. I was working in the garage so I have no idea how that feather got there BUT the timing was DIVINE. Always remember that for yourself too! When a feather lands in front of you or you find one it is a really positive sign that you are moving in the right direction.

Feeling grateful for my feather message, I soldiered on with the painting process.

I have chosen lots of metallic colours to help reflect the light in this mandala. The colours have a big part to play in the mandalas healing energy. I love metallic because it is so multidimensional. It can totally change the look of the painting, depending on how the light hits it.

I chose fire opal, metallic plum and metallic aquamarine because I love the contrast between those colours. I also used pure gold and light gold to compliment that lovely black background that makes the vibrant colours POP even more.

From a colour healing perspective black is protection. It grounds excess energies and helps you to break any unhealthy patterns.

Fire opal healing qualities will really boost your positive energy. It is a great confidence booster and will encourage you to improve how you think of yourself and how you relate to others.

Metallic plum healing qualities are associated with power, both earthly and spiritual. It activates higher spiritual development and activates your third eye.

Metallic aquamarine has a really soothing energy. It offers courage and protection. It opens your Throat Chakra, to promote verbal self-expression. It will enhance spiritual communication and clear communication blocks.

The energy of gold is very high vibration. You could maybe call it the colour of enlightenment. It is full of wisdom, compassion and healing.

Another important part of the mandala is the geometry! Shapes are numbers. Numbers are shapes and they all have meaning.

Circles are among the oldest of geometric symbols, and commonly represent unity, wholeness, and infinity. Pythagoras called the circle "monad," the most perfect of creative forms, without beginning or end, without sides or corners. He associated the circle with the number 1 and the practice of monotheism.

We will come to the number meanings shortly.

A spiral is a curve that starts as a point in the center, and curls around to a large circle; concentric circles are related symbols, consisting of a set of nested circles. Found in nature such as nautilus shells, spirals are some of the oldest geometric shapes, found carved into Neolithic passage tombs in the United Kingdom, carved on rock art around the world, and as part of the geoglyphic Nazca lines in Peru.

Anthropologists and others typically associate spirals and concentric rings with shamanism and the achievement of altered states of consciousness’’.

I always see a spiral as the beginning of life. Rebirth. Creation. Creativity. Something new emerging. I associate it with feminine energy.

Pythagoras associated the square with the number 4, and that number in many cultures is commonly associated with material things—physical elements, compass directions, and seasons. Thus, squares and crosses are often used as symbols of the material world. However, squares have visual solidness that crosses lack. A square has volume; it contains space.

Squares represent solidity, a perfection that is static, dependable, earthly and material. In Hinduism, the square represents cosmic order and the balance of opposites; in Native American religions, the square represents permanence, a safe place. In Chinese symbolism, the square represents the earth. In many many cultures, a square is a meeting place, a plaza at the heart of a city.

In geometry, a hexagon is a polygon with six edges and six vertices. The total of the internal angles of any hexagon is 720°. Meaning of 6; (as a numerological aspect of the hexagon) include: Communication, Interfacing, Balance, Union

So, numbers 1, 4 and 6 have come up for you in this mandala. Numbers have relationships with all things in nature, thus making them supremely powerful symbolic expressions.

At its most basic, numerology is the study of numbers and their influence in our lives, but there is so much more potential if you ever wish to explore.

Here are the number interpretations from http://sacredscribesangelnumbers.blogspot.com/p/index-numbers.html :-

''Number 1 - One primarily deals with strong will, positivity, pure energy. The number one reflects new beginnings, and purity. The symbolic meaning of number one is further clarified when we understand one represents both kinds of action: physical and mental. This combined with one urgency for new beginnings, we begin to see ones’ recurring in our lives indicates a time to exert our natural forces, take action, and start a new venture. One encourages us our action will be rewarded in kind.

Angel Number 1 is a reminder from your angels that we are all connected and we are all associated by our thoughts.

Angel Number 1 asks you to be aware of your thoughts and focus upon your true heart’s desires so that they are able to positively manifest your desires into your life. Do not focus on your fears and what you don’t want as these can also manifest.

Angel Number 1 encourages you to look to new beginnings, opportunities and projects with a positive and optimistic attitude as these are appearing in your life for very good reason. Your angels want you to achieve and succeed with your desired goals and aspirations so do not hesitate in taking positive steps and striving forward. Do not allow fears, doubts or concerns to hold you back from living and serving your Divine life purpose and soul mission.

Angel Number 1 also encourages you to take up challenges with total faith and trust in yourself and the Universal Energies.

Number 4 - The symbolic meaning of number four deals with stability and invokes the grounded nature of all things. Consider the four seasons, four directions, four elements all these amazingly powerful essences wrapped up in the nice square package of Four. Fours represent solidity, calmness, and home. A recurrence of four in your life may signify the need to get back to your roots, center yourself, or even “plant” yourself. Fours also indicate a need for persistence and endurance.

Angel Number 4 is an indication that your angels are offering you love, support, encouragement and inner-strength, enabling you to do what you need to do and achieve your goals with diligence and proficiency. When you take positive action towards your highest intentions, aspirations and goals, the Universe works in your favour and helps you to establish solid foundations and advance you along your path.

Angel Number 4 indicates that your angels are around you and that you are able to call upon them for help, guidance and assistance whenever you feel the need. Trust that you have all the skills, talents and abilities to overcome any obstacles and achieve your highest aspirations.

Angel Number 4 also encourages you to put proper preparation into your plans and set things in motion with system and order so that you can achieve your goals and aspirations.

Number 6 - The symbolism behind number six is legend. With Venus as its ruler, six represents harmony, balance, sincerity, love, and truth. Six naturally reveals solutions for us in a calm, unfolding manner. We invoke the six when we need delicate diplomacy when dealing with sensitive matters. The spiritual meaning of number six also deals with enlightenment; specifically “lighting” our path in areas we require spiritual and mental balance. Sixes beckon us to administer compassion and consciously choose forgiveness in a situation.

Angel Number 6 brings a message from the angels to keep a balance between your material goals and aspirations, and your spiritual, inner-self. Respect yourself and others by taking responsibility for your own life and be honest and fair in all of your dealings. Be grateful for what you have already, as an attitude of gratitude encourages further positive abundance into your life.

When the Angel Number 6 appears it tells of the ability to use the intellect to bring about positive outcomes in your life. Be open to angelic signs and signals, maintain a positive attitude, and trust that opportunities will present themselves that will allow you to meet your material and financial needs. Trust that all will be provided for as you take care of and serve yourself and others, and as you pursue your Divine life purpose and soul mission.

Angel Number 6 encourages you to be loving, caring and nurturing of yourself and others''.

Last but not least let's talk about the bees! They have been here the whole time, offering their beautiful energy to this mandala, to you!

The bees come to you as a totem in this life. You will always feel connected to them and will receive guidance from them when you most need it.

The bees come to tell you that it is time to recognize the treasures within you! It’s time to channel your inner Queen Bee.

Whenever Bee symbolism shows up in your life, it is time to examine your productivity. In other words, disorganization and indecisiveness are pcan cause you to miss opportunities.  In fact, take a moment right now and prioritize your goals. Only you can decide which of these are important, and which are now redundant. As you do this, you should also make time for yourself and set schedules. With these things in place, you will find that your world will become far richer. After all, savoring the fruits of your labor is the reason for the work in the first place.

Alternatively, this insect is a reminder that your industry and hard work produces a community life and social organization that generates abundance. However, it is important to remain an individual within this society.  In other words, reclaim your self-identity and move forward accordingly.

Conversely, Queen Bee meaning emphasizes the fact that no matter how enormous the dream is, there is the promise of fulfillment if you pursue your goals.

It is time to Bee a Queen!

''People with the Bee totem can accomplish the impossible over and over again. Moreover, they know how to enjoy the sweetness that life brings them and understand the proper use of energy. Folks with this spirit animal totem always have their intentions focused on a clear path and goal in life goal. These people are also self-sufficient, very focused, very hard workers, and work best when they are working with others. They are the living manifestation of benevolence and devoted contribution. Service is their focus, and they provide continuously.

Let’s be honest. You are amazing. You have a fierce spirit and immeasurable potential. To know this and be humble may seem like a challenge; however, it’s one the queen bee always knows how to meet. Dr. Jordan LaBouff defines humility as “being relatively down-to-earth and capable of understanding one’s own strengths and weaknesses appropriately.” In other words, be mindfully human. Accept mistakes and setbacks, ask questions, embrace feedback, and care for yourself. Be happy with who you are!

The queen bee’s philosophy is to work hard to achieve greatness. So this season find your passion. Take control. Get to know why you’re passionate, surround yourself with encouraging people, believe in yourself, and keep going. You’ve got this! Unleash your queen bee power. You can achieve anything.

Just like the queen bee who fearlessly guides her honeycomb community, you too can be a leader. Use your gifts to positively impact the world. Maybe you’re an excellent communicator? Perhaps you’re an inspired artist? No matter what your niche is, do what you do!  Invest in relationships, solve problems, lead by example, and embrace your community with a positive attitude.

The queen bee is a reminder of achievement. Channel her energy and celebrate all you have and will accomplish. You can change the world!
