Kat Day ~ Bristol, UK
I’m Kat Day and I currently reside in a beautiful countryside village on the outskirts of Bristol.
As a highly sensitive soul, I found it a struggle growing up in the harsh materialistic world within the dense vibration on planet Earth, feeling different from others but not understanding why or how. In 2009 I was diagnosed with M.E./Fibromyalgia & Depression (which I had suffered with undiagnosed for at least 10 years beforehand) and my life proceeded to diminish before my eyes but I discovered my path to recovery in the form of a training programme called Phil Parker’s Lightning Process (involving NLP, Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching). Learning this process made me realise that in order for my body to heal I had to change the way I lived my life to date, including my thought processes and beliefs about who I was and the world around me. As I embraced the Lightning Process wholeheartedly I witnessed amazing changes in my life beginning to happen; I now love being the “new Me” and I know deep within my heart that there is no way I can go back to being the way I was before.
I have experienced remarkable positive changes regarding my physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing and my path of recovery has proved to be an enlightening spiritual adventure too! As a result, my creativity has flourished with an energy I have never before experienced and I am guided by my Higher Self to paint spiritual art in the form of Mandalas.
A Mandala is a sacred space, often a circle, which reveals some inner truth about you and the world around you. In Sanskrit “mandala” means both circle and centre, implying that it represents both the visible world outside of us (the circle- whole world) and the invisible one deep inside our minds and bodies (the centre- healing circle). Painting these spiritual geometric images has enabled me to continue healing at a deeper level.
The gifts of my healing include a profound awareness of relationships, nature and the spiritual world around me. Whilst enjoying my new-found sense of positive health and well-being, I began to question the purpose of life and the role of illness/dis-ease within our lives. Discovering how inter-connected our minds and bodies really are, it makes perfect sense that our thoughts and feelings create our physical reality and therefore that all healing essentially comes from our power within, making us co-creators with the Divine Source. As a result of my “remembering” of this knowledge I developed a strong desire to help others make positive changes in their lives too, which led me to become a Reiki Healing Practitioner, start up a Meditation Group for like-minded people and become a co-organiser of The Bristol Intuitive Development Group.
As one great opportunity leads me to another I am now thrilled to become a member of Our Psychic Art, which gives me the opportunity to share my artwork with you.
