~ A massive tree starts life as a seed that is pulsing with life force energy as well as the potential for growth ~
What is energy?
Energy is life. It is the invisible force that animates the human body and permeates everything in the natural world, including animals, plants, trees and rocks, as well as the Earth, Sun, Moon and Stars.
Throughout history, cultures from all over the world have acknowledged the existence of a Universal Energy Force flowing through everything in the world, including the human body. It has been given many names. In India it is called ‘’Prana’’. In the Far East it is ‘’Chi’’ and in some shamanistic traditions it is described is ‘’Chula’’ or ‘’Amimu’’. Today many people refer to it as ‘’Spirit’’ or the ‘’Life Force’’.
Invisible like air, the life force has a powerful influence on our health and wellbeing. When life force is in harmony we feel ready to take on the world.
The life force connects us to the world we live in, weaving the fabric of life seamlessly together. EVERYTHING within the Universe vibrates with energy and the world that we are part of is a vast intricate web of energy patterns.
This idea has been verified by modern science. All matter, however dense it appears, is made up of energy: it consists of Atoms, Protons, Neurons, Electrons, Waves and Particles, all vibrating together at different frequencies.
We live in the electromagnetic field of the earth, surrounded by wave forms, from low frequency radio waves at one end to high frequency cosmic rays at the other. EVERYTHING in the Universe is made up of energy, which becomes more dense (and vibrates at a lower frequency) as it forms into matter. WE ARE ENERGETIC PHENOMENA and our world is dynamic!
Like everything else in our lives, our health is influenced by the invisible life force that flows through us and around us.
We have many chakras within the body (7 main and many minor) and we also have chakras outside of our "physical body”. As we grow spiritually, these higher chakras open for us and we then have access to these energies. The world as we know it is changing, but for the better, and we can actively participate in this process by increasing our Light. What we focus our energy on becomes reality. If we see ourselves as the beautiful divine light beings that we are, that is what we become. We are becoming light.
The chakra system is an energetic data storage system, very much like a computer, which many healers feel or see. It is the spiritual interface between the physical body, through the nervous system, our spirit body & the holographic web. The nervous system is our physical interface, communicating with all aspects of the physical, giving information to & receiving from the chakras. The chakras function as transmitters of energy from one level to another, distributing life force, chi or prana to the physical body. While there are many minor chakras in the body & at our joints, it is recognized that there are 7 major chakras between the groin and top of the head, with 2 others that are of major importance located approximately 8 inches above the top of the head, known as the Alpha, the Omega, located approximately 8 inches below the spine. There are lots of minor chakras located all over your body as well.
The chakras are the gateway by which vital energies enter and leave our body. These invisible energy centres govern certain parts of our bodies and influence our health at all levels.
The 7 main chakras are located along the central energy channel, which corresponds to the spinal cord, from the base of the spine to the head. They are often imagined as vibrantly coloured vortexes of light.
Each chakra resonates with a particular vibrational frequency, which descends from the highest at the top of the head, to the lowest at the base of the spine; it transforms and balances the body as it moves through the system.
The subtle force of the chakra system can be enhanced by using meditation or by using the relevant colour in dress, light or environment. In this way colour contributes to the general well-being and assists with and contributes to conventional healing methods.
Guide to the Chakras
1st Chakra: Base Chakra located at the area of the coccyx at the base of the spine, relates to the adrenals, large intestines and rectum. It shares responsibility of the kidneys with the 2nd chakra. This chakra is known as the kundalini or serpent's fire; life force for survival, life or "death" struggle, family identity, bonding and loyalty. The root chakra's expression of energy is directly related to a person's quality of health. The cosmic fire that awaits release lies dormant until the higher self can properly utilize the potency of its ethereal energy source on physical & spiritual levels of life. The lesson of the first chakra is that of Oneness rather than separation. Its colour is red; Crystals: Hematite, Garnet, Black Tourmaline, Black Onyx, Smokey Quartz, Obsidian; & its Note is C.
2nd Chakra: Sacral Chakra is located midway between the public bone and naval (some traditions see it at the naval), relates to the testes, prostate and ovaries. The pelvis is the physical representation of the Void & The Goddess. This is where the Inner Feminine/Goddess Self anchors. It is the creative centre and relates to sensuality as well as sexuality, power (personal power when it is in balance, & ego domination when it is unbalanced) and money or abundance, the ability to create & take risks, fight or flight, resilience, perseverance, & financial acumen. This then is our creative centre, the seat of our passion & our sexuality - being comfortable in our body as a woman or man. Shadow aspects: Disempowering/controlling or using others for your own advantage. Colour: orange; Note: D; Crystals: Amber, Tigers Eye, Carnelian.
3rd Chakra: Solar Plexus Chakra relates to the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, stomach, spleen and digestion. This is where our unresolved emotions are stored and is therefore the place where we 'digest' our emotions, or not! This chakra relates to will power, self-esteem, self-discipline, ambition, courage, generosity, ethics & instincts, self-respect & honoring of self. Shadow aspects: Giving away personal power of choice out of a need for approval; narcissistic behavior. Colour: yellow; Note: E; Crystals: Citrine, Sunstone, Lemon Chrysophrase.
4th Chakra: Heart Chakra is located in the centre of the chest relates to the thymus gland and heart. This is the chakra of love of self and others, compassion and forgiveness. Shadow aspects: jealousy, joylessness, resentment, & the inability to forgive. Colour: a combination of pink, for self-love, & green, for love of others. We must first love ourselves before we can love another; Note: F; Crystals: Rose Quartz, Green Aventurine, Amazonite, Chrysophrase.
5th Chakra: Throat Chakra is located at the base of the throat, relates to the thyroid and parathyroid voice and the neck. It relates to our ability to speak our truth & trust ourselves, and is where we allow love into our lives. It is where we exert our will over others or give our power/will away to others. This is the centre of faith, self-knowledge, personal authority & the ability to keep your word. Shadow aspects: An obsessive need to control relationships & events. Colour: blue; Note: G; Crystals: Sodalite, Blue Lace Agate, Lapis, Aquamarine, Azurite/Malachite.
6th Chakra: Brow Chakra is often called the third eye, is located between and slightly above the eye brows. It relates to the pineal gland and spiritual sight, and the ability to articulate vision and inspiration. Shadow aspects: defining the truth in self-serving ways. Colour: purple; Note: A; Crystals: Amethyst, Kyanite, Azurite.
7th Chakra: Crown Chakra is located at the top of the head & can be found by 'drawing' a line up from the top of the ears and straight up from the tip of the nose. It relates to the pituitary gland and is our direct connection to spirit and higher consciousness. This is the centre of faith in the Divine as well as in inner guidance, insight into healing & devotion to the Divine. Shadow aspect: the need to know why things happen as they do, which causes you to live in the past. Colour: white; Note: B; Crystal: Clear Quartz, Selenite, Indicolite (Blue) Quartz.
The 5 Higher Chakras, 8 – 12 These five higher chakras were disconnected eons ago & are now being reconnected through our opening to Spirit. The process can be speeded up through an Ascension Initiation. The colours of the higher charkas varies from person to person & is dependent on your individual purpose or function as spirit. Crystals: Herkimer & Tibetan Diamonds, double terminated Clear Quartz, Selenite, Indicolite (Blue Tourmaline in Quartz), Moldavite, Cavansite, Apophyllite, Prehnite.
Alpha Chakra: Also known as the Transpersonal chakra, is approximately 8 inches above the head. This is the centre that holds all our contracts & agreements related to this lifetime, karmic connections and so on. A person's Alpha overlaps with that of the people they've had long-term relationships or sexual encounters with, & they don't completely disconnect on their own, even though the couple may part physically. It's very important, therefore, to be able to clear all those old relationship contracts, in order to make way for new potential relationships to come to you more easily, or to clear a pathway for the relationship of your current, supporting it to grow more fully. The eight chakra is also the centre of detachment, staying in the present moment, unconditional trust, acceptance of intuitive guidance & the ability to discern illusion. It is the centre of higher intellect. It marks the realm where the individual soul merges with the Universal Mind. It also marks the point where the soul manifests into matter, into the individual energy body. Note: C;
8th Chakra: Intergalactic Gateway to the Divine and the BluePrint for this incarnation, & our Higher Emotional Centre. This is where we hold all the information related to who we will be & are, in this current incarnation - our eye colour, hair colour, other features, personality characteristics & what we are going to be/do in this lifetime. This information becomes our DNA. We choose all this before we come in to this incarnation. In a healing, the Blueprint may appear fragmented, damaged or fractured, split, cracked, scattered or even dispersed. I worked with one woman who was extremely depressed, and I had a sense that she did not want to be here. She confirmed this when I asked her. Her blueprint actually appeared dispersed or scattered & I believe she would have tried to leave somehow if she hadn't had the session with me. She burst into tears when I asked that a new blueprint be brought in & she felt completely different after the session. In particular she had a huge release when I cleared her ninth and eleventh chakras. Note: D
9th Chakra: Interdimensional Gateway to the Divine is the gateway to all the other experiences (and dimensions) we've had throughout the universe. This chakra is where the soul fragments itself & scatters itself throughout the universe, requiring 'retrieval'. Once all aspects are retrieved the person has full access to all the infinite possibilities of who they've been and are--their 'universal archetypes', for want of a better term. By bringing the essence of those aspects or soul fragments into one chakra it gives us the ability to work with all our talents and abilities. Most people only have access to between one and ten of their universal archetypes, and that's quite limiting because we actually have an infinite number. Note: E
10th Chakra: Universal Gateway to the Divine is where duality begins, so to speak. It is the 'field of overlap' between Light & Dark is where we have all contracts and agreements belonging to our soul, whereas the eighth chakra is this current incarnation's contracts and agreements. Clearing the eleventh chakra is pivotal in bringing a person into balance and allowing them to have full access to their Divinity. I find that blocks in the 11th chakra are most likely to interfere with our Divine connection. This is where our contracts with the occult, black magic & the Abyss are held. We all have aspects of ourselves that have experienced the shadow, because that's part of the Soul's journey to explore Light and Dark, Order & Chaos. Part of the Divine plan for us is to experience Duality--Light and Dark and all the rays of the rainbow in between. Sometimes I find that this chakra is very imbalanced and may require a substantial infusion of Love, & perhaps a 'new' chakra make by needed. When I clear with this chakra people often experience an instant shift, and they comment that they suddenly feel different, more connected to the Divine. Note: F
The 11th Chakra: Monadic Soul Level Completing the five higher chakras is the 12th chakra or the Monad is considered the individualized Spirit-Spark of the Divine & is often called the I am Presence. The Monad is often considered the Ascended Master Level of the Soul. Each Monad or Spirit-Spark creates & is divided into 12 pairs of Souls. Each pair are knows as Twin Flames. The Monad is often considered the Ascended Master or Spirit level of Soul. When being cleared I see the person's Twin Flame as well as their Divine Ray - their personal flavor of the Divine, in colour frequency, which is their 'function' as Spirit.
Here is the Blueprint of the Soul, the Soul's Twin Flame--twin-self or mirror opposite. Occasionally I see the souls of other significant relationships here. It's a connection where there is no differentiation between the Monad and the Divine. Often I see that the two Blueprints--Soul's & this incarnation--reflect one another. Sometimes the same fragmentation is going on in each one. If there is a split in the Blueprints, this particularly relates to a disconnection between the male and female aspects of our being. Unify the male/female energy within us is the most important step to experiencing Unity.
If there is a split between the male/female aspects, one half of the Blueprint may be missing. So the Monad is present but their Twin Flame is usually missing. By bringing the Blueprint back together and making it whole, their Twin Flame comes in and the client has access to working with their mirror-self. Note: F#
The following is based on the numbering system. The numbers are not important, where the chakras are & what they 'do' is:
The 12th Chakra: Divine Heart Space/ Star Tetrahedron Heart Centre: is the chakra of Co-Creative Divine Consciousness, the acceptance of the Divine within, Unconditional Love & compassion for self & others. When we awaken this centre, wellness is potentially an integral part of our path. Life takes on meaning & fulfillment & we experience the joy of Love, which pours forth from this chakra.
When fully activated this centre becomes one Unified Chakra. This is important because a unified chakra allows you then to align your physical, emotional, mental & spiritual bodies, & to harmonize their energy. Working with the unified chakra you unify the five higher & the ten lower chakras into one so that they all function in accordance with the frequency of unconditional love-based energy flowing through this Divine-Heart centre.
The Thymus gland controls the immune system & our rate of ageing. It is fully functional when the physical body (glands & organs) utilizes the thymus-governing imprint. The thymus naturally gets smaller as we age. By tapping the thymus daily you keep it activated. It is said that certain initiations also keep the thymus activated & that you will stop ageing after the initiation. Self healing with Arcturian Rainbow Healing is one such initiation, particularly after Level II.
When Divine flow is more direct & powerful, we may move consistently through life in tune with the Intention of Spirit. Then as male (thoughts) & female (emotions) are no longer antagonistic, proper hormone balance will begin to be established. Colour: depends on the soul's purpose; Note: F#
The 13th Chakra: Quantum-Holographic Gateway to the Divine is where the Universal Holographic Web connects to the physical. The Web is like a highway & connects us to everyone & everything in the Universe. We often have inappropriate connections to others through the Web & give our gifts & talents away to hide ourselves. Healing energy can be directed through the Web in such a way as to repair the Web & thereby heal the 'physical' body--which only appears solid but is in fact energy. If the physical body is damaged the Web is also damaged--torn or broken. Colour: Green-White Note: B
The 14th Chakra: Physical Gateway to the Divine grounds & connects spirit into the physical plane. When this centre is activated we feel connected to Mother Earth & feel one with her energy, & that of all life forms. Environmental consciousness resides here & our desire to support our Earth Mother. Colour: Navy Blue; Note A
Omega Chakra is approximately 8 inches below our feet & when activated grounds our Spirit-Self fully into the physical into the Infinite Moment of the Present, where we are the most powerful - Spirit having a human experience. We cannot be anything other than Spirit, although humans tend to ignore this Truth, & there is nothing to look for except within the self - to remember we are a piece of the Divine. Colour: Forest Green; Note A#
These 16 chakras, along with other major & minor chakras, make up the most important interface between our spirit & physical bodies. The chakras directly interface with our nervous system, hence the importance of clearing both systems--physical & energy bodies. When we observe our patterns (attitudes, values & beliefs) we see clues as to what chakras are out of balance. There are many visualizing techniques to bring the chakras into balance & alignment & in my experience they need to be practiced every day.
Physical pain associated with chakra imbalances is very real. Having worked with people as a healer, I have seen many instances where physical pain has been relieved or released during a healing session. I have found that we carry our past predominately in our backs, which represents our past--literally behind us! People often experience a physical sensation related to a 'broken' heart. They may experience pain around their mid spinal region between the shoulder blades, and upon visualizing their emotional heart, 'see' either an image of something protecting their heart (e.g., a box or cage) or 'see' it as broken. When a person has money issues and feels unsupported in some area of their life, they may experience low back pain.
In this final part of The Chakras, I wanted to address some questions & issues that have come up frequently with clients over the years, including some of the ways I've found most effective to keep the chakras working in harmony.
Clients have asked me to 'close my chakras' at the end of their session & this is a very important issue to address. As a question this also comes up frequently: "Should I keep my chakras open or closed?" Clients have been told by other healers that they need to close their chakras to be 'protected'. And since my clients know I open all the charkas & bring them into alignment & then give my clients a visualization for keeping their chakras open, it's natural that this creates confusion.
The chakras are in essence mini computers, gathering & storing information that then gets transferred to their interfaces, the physical & spirit bodies, through the nervous system & subtle bodies. Having your chakras closed is like trying to operate your computer with it switched off. Therefore it's not a protection, but rather the opposite keeping you unprotected & open to negative or unwanted energies.
When your chakras are open & operating in harmony with one another, you are communicating freely with your Spirit-Self. Most importantly when your charkas are open, your heart chakra is open, & you are exuding Love, in & around you, & this is your greatest protection.
The next question I get asked the most is, "How do I keep my chakras open?" One thing I find is that when the Omega is closed, or deactivated, all the other chakras are affected. Some chakras will be partially open but moving sluggishly, some chakras will be closed. Conversely I have found that when the Omega is then opened, all chakras are affected in a positive way also.
In order to go through how to open & maintain your chakras, we first need to establish how they spin - in which direction. There are 2 main beliefs about how the chakra system spins - both are valid & work, if that's your belief. Typically, how you were first taught is the one that works for you. I learnt this way: Each chakra spins the opposite direction to the one next to it, creating a DNA-like spiral that locks them together, starting with the Omega spinning counter clockwise. Another easy way to remember it is that all the odd numbers spin clockwise, while the even numbers spin counter clockwise.
How you check this is with a pendulum, which is also how you clear & open the chakras. You can hold a pendulum over any chakra & ask to be shown how it's spinning. If a chakra is closed, the pendulum will do nothing. If it's only partially open the pendulum will spin very slowly. When a chakra is fully open the pendulum will spin smoothly & reasonably fast, in large circle. Once you've established if your Omega is open or closed, & you've checked your solar plexus & heart chakras, you can start realigning all your chakras.
Another exercise that you can use to open each chakra is to visualize each one spinning in its appropriate direction & visualizing the appropriate colour for each. Another way is to hold a double terminated clear quartz crystal or wand over each chakra while you're using your pendulum. This will help to clear each chakra of any unwanted energies more thoroughly. Ideally, Chakra balancing should be practiced daily.
(Above Left Doggie Aura - Above Right Human Aura)
The Human Energy Field as a collection of electro - magnetic energies of varying densities that permeate through and emit or exit from the physical body of a living person. These particles of energy are suspended around the healthy human body in an oval shaped field. This "auric egg" emits out from the body approximately 2-3 feet (1 metre on average) on all sides. It extends above the head and below the feet into the ground.
This vibrating field of energy represents the most subtle form of existence and reacts to all change and will vary depending on the person’s mental, physical, spiritual and emotional state.
The aura is the receptor and transmitter of information from the entire body: Physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. It is more willing to accept and aid what we require for our entire wellbeing and therefore very effective when you begin to work with it.
Healers and psychics can often see or feel a person’s aura and make use of this special sensitivity in their healing methods.
There are many auric levels beyond the 7 for now we will use 12.
Layer 1 Physical Body (Lower Etheric Aspect) Auric Body / Physical Plane
The first auric layer is the Etheric Body associated with physical aspects and awareness of the material body and is related to the First (Root) Chakra. It is on the next higher vibrational level to the physical body which has the lowest vibrational level. It bridges the connection of the material body to the higher bodies. The etheric body is an energy matrix and the form is shaped and anchored to the physical matter of the material body. The etheric body extends only a quarter of an inch up to one inch outside the skin of the physical body. The etheric body is invisible to most people, while some can see it as a faint grayish-white colour outlining the physical body.
Layer 2 Emotional Body (Lower Emotional Aspect)
The second auric layer is the Emotional Body associated with the vibrational level of inner feelings and related to the Second (Sacral Plexus) Chakra. It extends three inches around from the physical body. This body or auric layer and all higher layers are perceived by the third eye.
Layer 3 Mental Body Lower Mental Aspect)
The third auric layer is the Mental Body which is associated with the vibrational level of thoughts and mental processes of the ego and related to the Third (Solar Plexus) Chakra. It extends three up to eight inches around from the physical body.
Layer 4 - Astral Body Auric Body / Astral Plane
The fourth auric layer is the Astral Body associated with areas of expression on a physical, emotional and mental level and is related to the Fourth (Heart) Chakra. It is called the bridge between the denser or lower vibrations of the physical plane and the finer or higher vibrations of the spiritual planes. It is the layer in which all energy must pass through when going from one world to the other. It extends one half foot up to one foot around from the physical body.
Layer 5 Etheric Template Body (Physical Aspect) Auric Body / Spiritual Plane
The fifth auric layer is the Etheric Template associated with aspects of the physical body and related to the Fifth (Throat) Chakra. Known as a blueprint of the lower etheric body and where matter is shaped into the physical aspect. The vibrational level in this layer is where sound creates matter. Balance and restoration of physical illnesses in the lower etheric body requires healing work at the etheric template level. It extends one and one half up to two feet around from the physical body.
Layer 6 - Celestial Body (Emotional Aspect)
The sixth auric layer is the Celestial Body associated with processes of enlightenment and related to the Sixth (Brow or Third Eye) Chakra. It is composed almost exclusively of light and is also known as the intuitive level. This layer gives us access to higher qualities of feelings, thoughts and manifestations. It extends two feet up to two and three and a quarter feet around from the physical body.
Layer 7 Causal Body (Mental Aspect)
The seventh layer is the Causal Body associated with the Divine or Universal Consciousness and is related to the Seventh (Crown) Chakra. The causal body contains the life plan or "soul contract" and reflects all experiences and events that the soul has ever experienced and is the level directly related to the current incarnation. The casual body is the purest form and link to God, within each of us. This layer is on a level that cannot be experienced from the limiting viewpoint of ego. It extends two feet up to three and one half feet in an oval shape around the physical body.
Layer 8 - Memory Body Auric Body / Cosmic Plane
The eighth layer is the Time Layer associated with interfaces from past Akashic Records, present and future karmic memories, or existences and is related to the Eighth (Memory or Time Continuum) Chakra. This layer is also known as the "White Zone." It is connected with the crown of the head and extends upward one foot up to three feet above the physical body.
Layer 9 - Soul Body
The ninth layer is the Soul Body or Soul Level, associated with the planes between the worlds of heaven and now and is related to the Ninth (Soul Star) Chakra. This layer interfaces with our "oneness" with Divine order in our pre-destined soul contracts. This auric layer is very small and occupies an almost non-existent space on the physical plane. It is located several inches above the head.
Layer 10 - Integrative Body
The tenth layer is the Integrative Body that serves as a pathway between the physical and the spiritual worlds and related to the Tenth (Grounding) Chakras. This layer is also known as the "travelling path" for the "dream body" in which is able to separate itself from the physical body and enter into the astral realms. It can access data from our genetic and soul heritage and contains imprints of our soul purpose. It is also recognized as the layer which integrates our chakras and spiritual energy centres. It is located in between the physical body and the etheric body.
Layer 11 - Eternal Body Auric Body - Universal Plane
The eleventh layer is the Eternal Body or Eternal Soul level and where our physical bodies are transformed into a light body and prepared for ascension, and is related to the Eleventh (Eternal or Eternal Soul) Chakra. It is connected to and above the memory body in a linear funnel/mushroom shape.
Layer 12 - Universal Mind Body
The twelfth layer is the Universal Mind Body or Divine Consciousness Level, known as the ultimate connection to the Divine, Universal Consciousness, Ascended Masters and God, and is related to the Twelfth (Universal Mind) Chakra. It is located in an encompassment of fluid-like illumination penetrating the entire bodiment of the auric layers or esoteric bodies.
Aura Colour Meanings
Auras have many shapes, sizes, colours, and textures. There is no standard interpretation because different people perceive differently.
The best way to discover the meanings of colours and other attributes is to experiment. Read about traditional meanings and use them to decide what the colours mean to you.
Here is a guide for you to start with
Red: Relates to the physical body, heart or circulation. The densest colour, it creates the most friction. Friction attracts or repels; money worries or obsessions; anger or unforgiveness; anxiety or nervousness. All warning signs in life are shown as red, and colour within the aura is no different. It is a colour of activity and represents animal elements within us, all things physical and materialistic thinking. Red can aid with circulation and heat, but is usually an indication of negative aspects. Reds can indicate selfishness, hate or temper. Others can represent lust and passion. An over exposure to read makes us uncomfortable.
Deep Red: Grounded, realistic, active, strong will-power, survival-oriented.
Muddied Red: Anger (repelling)
Clear Red: Powerful, energetic, competitive, sexual, passionate
Pink-bright and light: Loving, tender, sensitive, sensual, artistic, affection, purity, compassion; new or revived romantic relationship. Can indicate clairaudience.
Dark and murky pink: Immature and/or dishonest nature
Orange Red: Confidence, creative power
In a good, bright and pure state, red energy can serve as a healthy ego.
Orange: Relates to reproductive organs and emotions. The colour of vitality, vigor, good health and excitement. Lots of energy and stamina, creative, productive, adventurous, courageous, outgoing social nature; currently experiencing stress related to appetites and addictions. This is another activity colour. It is a mixture of reds (physical) and yellows (mental). It is one of the most commonly represented colours within auras. It is the colour of balance and harmony. Orange is represented in the aura of people recovering from illness. Orange signifies the worst is past and healing is occurring. It will usually give way to greens. Orange represents wakefulness and alertness so is necessary for us to maintain ourselves actively.
Orange-Yellow: Creative, intelligent, detail oriented, perfectionist, scientific.
Yellow: Relates to the spleen and life energy. It is the colour of awakening, inspiration, intelligence and action shared, creative, playful, optimistic, easy-going. Yellow is representative of intellect. Each shade represents a type of functioning or ability. Light = high thought, ruddy = timidity. Yellow represented within the aura shows conscious mental activity represented within the area that the colour shows itself.
Light or pale yellow: Emerging psychic and spiritual awareness; optimism and hopefulness; positive excitement about new ideas.
Bright lemon-yellow: Struggling to maintain power and control in a personal or business relationship; fear of losing control, prestige, respect, and/or power.
Clear gold metallic, shiny and bright: Spiritual energy and power activated and awakened; an inspired person.
Dark brownish yellow or gold: A student, or one who is straining at studying; overly analytical to the point of feeling fatigued or stressed; trying to make up for "lost time" by learning everything all at once.
Green: Relates to heart and lungs. It is a very comfortable, healthy colour of nature. When seen in the aura this usually represents growth and balance, and most of all, something that leads to change. Love of people, animals, nature; teacher; social. Green is a growth colour. It brings to mind new beginnings, fresh growth and also health and happiness. Green is a reflection of all things natural and is an excellent colour to remind us of natures cycles. New beginnings and the constant cycle of growth and decay. Green is a healing colour because it represents regeneration and regrowth. (however green is a bad colour to use with cancer as it stimulates growth!). In the aura green is positive as it represents a new beginning.
Bright emerald green: A healer, also a love-centreed person
Yellow-Green: Creative with heart, communicative
Dark or muddy forest green: Jealousy, resentment, feeling like a victim of the world; blaming self or others; insecurity and low self-esteem; lack of understanding personal responsibility; sensitive to perceived criticism
Turquoise: Relates to the immune system. Sensitive, compassionate, healer, therapist.
Blue: Relates to the throat, thyroid. Cool, calm, and collected. Caring, loving, love to help others, sensitive, intuitive. Blue is a colour where the hues can be very important. The lightest colours represent stimulation and mental intuitiveness, the darkest colours can represent melancholia. But all blues represent the informational processes and the brain. Dark blues are good for calming and soothing and are extremely effective in karma reduction. But should not be over used. Students often have light blues represented within there auras. It represents the in pouring of energy and the mental activity that they are undergoing.
Soft blue: Peacefulness, clarity and communication; truthful; intuitive
Bright royal blue: Clairvoyant; highly spiritual nature; generous; on the right path; new opportunities are coming
Dark or muddy blue: Fear of the future; fear of self-expression; fear of facing or speaking the truth

Intuitive, visionary, futuristic, idealistic, artistic, magical. This colour represents the intuitive and spiritual combination of blue and purple. Violet being present in the aura represents a great deal of protection is present. Spiritual activity is also represented in hues within this spectrum.
Lavender: Imagination, visionary, daydreamer, etheric.
Silver: This is the colour of abundance, both spiritual and physical. Lots of bright silver can reflect to plenty of money, and/or awakening of the cosmic mind. Silver represents a speeding up of processing of the other colours around it. It is often seen in guide energies. It represents speedy usage of energy and directness of use.
Bright metallic silver: Receptive to new ideas; intuitive; nurturing
Dark and muddy grey: Residue of fear is accumulating in the body, with a potential for health problems, especially if gray clusters seen in specific areas of the body
Gold: The colour of enlightenment and divine protection. When seen within the aura, it says that the person is being guided by their highest good. It is divine guidance. Protection, wisdom, inner knowledge, spiritual mind, intuitive thinker. Gold as a colour does not refer to the ochre's of the yellow spectrum. It represents the reflective colour. It is rare to find it within the aura but is often represented within rays and beams. It supplies protection and strength and represents reflective thought. It can represent antiseptic following an injury.
Black: Draws or pulls energy to it and in so doing, transforms it. It captures light and consumes it. Usually indicates long-term unforgiveness (toward others or another) collected in a specific area of the body, which can lead to health problems; also, entitities within a person's aura, chakras, or body; past life hurts; unreleased grief from abortions if it appears in the ovaries. Black is simply the absence of colour - it represents negativity and problems. It can often appear as a hole in an aura. They are usually indicative of depression
White: White light represents a mixture of all colours together in balance. It is the spiritual colour and show complete balance. We take from white what ever we need. It is very protective. It represents health and good being. White reflects other energy. A pure state of light. Often represents a new, not yet designated energy in the aura. Cleansing & Clearing the Aura
Clearing and cleansing the aura regularly is important in order to keep us healthy on all levels. Every atom, particle and cell of the body is surrounded by an energy field known as the ‘aura’. The aura extends approximately an arm’s length around the entire body. Within the aura there are ‘meridians, which are channels that convey energy around the body.
This flow of energy must be kept strong, clean and clear, otherwise we may develop problems which can manifest emotionally, mentally and physically.
The body and soul, mind and spirit are all connected, and our spiritual state affects our mental state, and our mental state affects our energetic state, making clearing and cleansing the aura of the utmost importance for our overall wellbeing.
A way to cleanse and clear your aura or someone else’s is through visualization. This can be uplifting and enlightening for all of our senses.
Use your mind, intentions and ask your guides to clear away any blocks and negativity from yours or another person’s aura. Imagine a flow of energy surging through and pushing out the negative energies.
Visualize a vibrant Rainbow surrounding the entire body, and allow the rainbow rays to remove all the negativity.
Direct the rainbow rays towards the negative blocks in the aura, clearing and cleansing the entire aura.
Take a few moments to ensure that the aura is now clear and clean. You should feel fresh and renewed.
Another quick way of clearing and cleansing the aura is to imagine a beam or stream of pure, vibrant White Light. Allow it to fill the aura and the entire mind, body and soul. Deeply breathe in this White Light whilst allowing yourself to absorb it fully into every cell of your being.
Once you are feeling revitalized and clear, breathe deeply in through the nose and out through the mouth and few times, and you are done.
You can repeat this process whenever you wish to reinforce the positive energies, protection and the healing vibrations of the Rainbow Rays and White light.
Clearing and cleansing the aura can be done whenever you feel the need.
Working with your Aura
Exercise 1: Grab a piece of paper and a pen, and some coloured pencils or crayons. Find a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted, sit comfortably, then relax as much as possible. Take your paper and pen and draw an outline of yourself.
Use your intuition to imagine and picture your aura, and to sense any negativity that you may have created from your own habits and/or thought patterns, or picked up from others.
Draw another outline around the first drawing of the outline of your body (symbolizing your aura), then outline or draw where the negativity spots or patches may be sitting within your aura.
Use your coloured pencils (or crayons) to colour in your aura as your intuitively view it. If you have problems imagining the colours of your aura, just use the first colour that comes to mind. Do not put too much thought into it, but rather, make your choice an instinctive, automatic one. Then colour in any perceived negativity spots in your aura.
Exercise 2: Another good way to keep track of your aura's health is to keep a daily journal. At around the same time every day, sit down for five or ten minutes, close your eyes, relax your body, and take a few deep breaths. With your eyes still closed, scan your body and the energy surrounding it. See how it feels when you focus on your feet, legs, knees. Move up to your thighs, pelvis, and abdomen. Does the energy surrounding your physical body feel the same everywhere, or are there subtle differences? Move up to your hands, arms, shoulders, upper torso, neck and head. What do you notice? Are some areas warm while others are cold? Is there a windy or buzzing sensation in the air around certain parts? Does the energy feel bunched up in certain areas, while other areas have a sort of deadened sensation where there doesn't seem to be much energy at all?
Write down any information, impressions, thoughts, emotions or feelings that you experience while scanning your body and the energy around it. You may be amazed at how much your energy actually tells you!
Now that you have practiced diagnosing whether or not your aura shows any signs of imbalance, you may wonder what a healthy aura feels like. In a healthy aura, the energy is quite balanced and flowing smoothly throughout the entire field. The temperature is comfortable, and there is a feeling of subtle vitality flowing throughout and around your body. With such a smooth flow and balanced field comes a happy heart and clear mind. When all of this is happening simultaneously, you can be pretty sure your aura is in great shape!
