The energy of this mandala came in really fast and it was a nice, clear and steady stream. It wanted to be born. There is no doubt about that.
I feel like the combination of the black light and the mandala allows us to shift into the ultraviolet energy frequency. Under the influence of these rays, everything takes on a different dimension. It creates a very magical healing environment. I definitely feel an extremely balancing aspect to the black light mandalas. They have a day/night energy. Yin/Yang. Masculine/feminine. Left brain and right-brain functions.
Please note that I always create the mandala first before I do any writing about it. This way I can just follow my intuition and the messages I receive and then at the end I begin to type it up and research some of the information that gets presented to me. Working in this way allows me to create unhindered by any logic. I love the process of research, it is always exciting to find others that can provide the information/science that supports and clarifies my intuitions. It’s very magical and always a synchronistic process for me.
So, now moving onto this mandalas creation. First, I will just start by talking about the colours I have selected.
I love to use black. That might seem dark at first but let me tell you why. It is because from a colour therapy perspective it is a feminine protective colour so it is great for anyone is sensitive/empathic. It’s very grounding and calming however, you have to respect the black energy because too much of it can be depressive and increase fear. Its knowing exactly how much to use. I have found that black is most effective when used in balance with white as they are perfect harmonizing polarities.
White is important. It is a very spiritual energy. It is so strong, powerful and reflects other energy. It is a pure state of light. Transcendent and pure.
The green energies activate healing and the heart chakra whilst the yellow/green activates creativity and communication through the heart.
The bright yellow has just been used to highlight certain parts and will activate an awakening and empowering energy within you.
The bright pink brings in a very pure unconditional energy. Loving, tender, sensitive, sensual, artistic, affectionate and compassionate.
The background of this mandala is covered in leaves so we get that feeling of being completely engulfed and immersed in nature. Providing a feeling of spiritual connection with mother earth and the divine. This is so intrinsic to our soul. We have such a deep need for this connection. Many of us are remembering what the Shamans have known and preserved for thousands of years.
Shamanism is often described as the first spiritual practice of humanity. It is an ancient healing tradition and, a way of life. It is a way to connect with nature and all of creation.
‘’Shamanism (/ˈʃɑːmən/ shah-men or /ˈʃeɪmən/ shay-mən) is a practice that involves a practitioner reaching altered states of consciousness in order to perceive and interact with a spirit world and channel these transcendental energies into this world’’. - Hoppál 1987. p. 76.
The shamanic path is one that many are walking today. We are remembering our soul history, the traditions and our connection to earth. This path involves a kind of death and rebirth experience, a shedding of the SELF. It involves letting go of the SELF, eliminating habits and programming, allowing ego to move out of the way and empowering the universe talk through you.
Some of the facets to the shamanic path will include journeying, ceremony, dance, pilgrimages to places of power in nature, singing, fasting, sweat lodges, and power plants such as ayahuasca, iboga, peyote, mushrooms and tobacco.
Since ancient times, shamans have worked with the spirits of nature for healing, survival, and knowledge. They from the plants, animals, rocks, seasons, waters, and from the cosmos shamans and have helped people to live in harmony with the universe. The way of the shaman teaches us how to respect nature, the Earth, and its inhabitants at a deep spiritual level.
This mandala activates us with our own innate shamanic wisdom. This energy stirs a shamanic wisdom within you that brings healing medicine to your soul and empowers you on your evolutionary journey. This mandala provides us with connection to the plant spirit world to assist us in clearing psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual dis-ease. It encourages reconnection with the plants and their healing medicines.
The centre of this mandala has two snakes intertwined. Snake symbology has been deeply embedded in our consciousness since ancient times, some may fear them but their wisdom cannot be denied.
‘’Around the world, for thousands of years, in one form or another, the reptilian serpent has been an archetype for countless tribes, societies and civilizations. In almost every instance of which we are aware, the serpent stands for immense and powerful cosmic movements. This is true of these archetype serpents deep under the earth, deep under the oceans, on the earth surface and in the sky. In fact, it is the very ability of serpents to move between various worlds and different dimensions, as indicated by their hibernation in winter and their life on and in the earth, which give them the significance to provide purpose and direction to ways of knowing and being, world-wide. Other physical and transformational qualities of serpents such as the shedding of their skins and regeneration add to the significance of complex, mutable characteristics, and the awe with which they are regarded. Due to their cosmological and physical importance in many cultures, they have carried a significant presence in the star stories of peoples from ancient times to today’’. - Cosmic Serpent: A Global Archetype - Nancy C. Maryboy
A great book that I have talked about before is ‘The Cosmic Serpent’ By Jeremy Narby. In this book Narby says that DNA is often represented in indigenous traditions and art as two intertwined serpents. Narby proposes that shamans receive information from DNA.
‘’Both shamans and molecular biologists agree that there is a hidden unity under the surface of life's diversity; both associate this unity with the double helix shape (or two entwined serpents, a twisted ladder, a spiral staircase, two vines wrapped around each other); both consider that one must deal with this level of reality in order to heal." - Jeremy Narby
‘’Shamanism resembles an academic discipline (such as anthropology or molecular biology); with its practitioners, fundamental researchers, specialists, and schools of thought. It is a way of apprehending the world that evolves constantly. One thing is certain: Both indigenous and mestizo shamans consider people like the Shipibo-Conibo, the Tukano, the Kamsa, and the Huitoto as the equivalents to universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, and the Sorbonne; they are the highest reference in matters of knowledge. In this sense, ayahuasca-based shamanism is an essentially indigenous phenomenon. It belongs to the indigenous people of Western Amazonia, who hold the keys to a way of knowing that they have practiced without interruption for at least five thousand years. In comparison, the universities of the Western world are less than nine hundred years old.
The shamanism of which the indigenous people of the Amazon are guardians represents knowledge accumulated over thousands of years in the most biologically diverse place on earth. Certainly, shamans say they acquire their knowledge directly from the spirits, but they grow up in cultures where shamanic visions are stored in myths. In this way mythology informs shamanism: The invisible, life-creating maninkari spirits are the ones whose feats Ashaninca mythology relates, and it is also the maninkari who talk to Ashaninca shamans in their visions tell them how to heal’’. (pages 154 - 155)
‘’According to my hypothesis, shamans take their consciousness down to the molecular level and gain access to bimolecular information. But what actually goes on in the brain/mind of an ayhuasquero when this poccurs? What is the nature of a shaman's communication with the animate essences of nature? The clear answer is that more research is needed in consciousness, shamanism, molecular biology, and their interrelatedness’’. Jeremy Narby ‘The Cosmic Serpent’ - (page 160)
Observe the formation of DNA and how it forms a perfect, serpent double helix. This prompts us to consider how the micro connects to the macro….
“The NSA’s largest, most notorious data-center is an enormous, sprawling complex full of networked racks of magnetic storage drives — but according to some estimates, DNA could take the volume of data contained in about a hundred industrial data centers and store it in a space roughly the size of a shoe box”. - How DNA data storage works - Graham Templeton
Imagine how much is actually stored within our own DNA! I imagine this HUGE, beyond anything we can fathom, computer, that has ALL information and we just have to learn how to access it. Like being able to access scenes and information from the Stone Age right now. It’s just knowing which ‘programme’ to go to to access this information within this HUGE computer. This makes me think of Graham Hancocks book ‘Entangled’, a very good read! Even though it is written as fiction there lays much truth in it.
“Quantum entanglement is a physical phenomenon that occurs when pairs or groups of particles are generated or interact in ways such that the quantum state of each particle cannot be described independently of the others, even when the particles are separated by a large distance—instead, a quantum state must be described for the system as a whole”. - Wikipedia
Quantum Entanglement Holds DNA Together, Say Physicists Elisabeth Rieper, Janet Anders, Vlatko Vedral. At the end of their paper they conclude that the entanglement may have an influence on the way that information is read off a strand of DNA.
“DNA has been found to have a bizarre ability to put itself together, even at a distance, when according to known science it shouldn't be able to. Explanation: None, at least not yet.
Scientists are reporting evidence that contrary to our current beliefs about what is possible, intact double-stranded DNA has the “amazing” ability to recognize similarities in other DNA strands from a distance. Somehow they are able to identify one another, and the tiny bits of genetic material tend to congregate with similar DNA. The recognition of similar sequences in DNA’s chemical subunits, occurs in a way unrecognized by science. There is no known reason why the DNA is able to combine the way it does, and from a current theoretical standpoint this feat should be chemically impossible.
Even so, the research published in ACS’ Journal of Physical Chemistry B, shows very clearly that homology recognition between sequences of several hundred nucleotides occurs without physical contact or presence of proteins. Double helixes of DNA can recognize matching molecules from a distance and then gather together, all seemingly without help from any other molecules or chemical signals.
In the study, scientists observed the behavior of fluorescently tagged DNA strands placed in water that contained no proteins or other material that could interfere with the experiment. Strands with identical nucleotide sequences were about twice as likely to gather together as DNA strands with different sequences. No one knows how individual DNA strands could possibly be communicating in this way, yet somehow they do. The “telepathic” effect is a source of wonder and amazement for scientists.
“Amazingly, the forces responsible for the sequence recognition can reach across more than one nanometer of water separating the surfaces of the nearest neighbor DNA,” said the authors Geoff S. Baldwin, Sergey Leikin, John M. Seddon, and Alexei A. Kornyshev and colleagues.
This recognition effect may help increase the accuracy and efficiency of the homologous recombination of genes, which is a process responsible for DNA repair, evolution, and genetic diversity. The new findings may also shed light on ways to avoid recombination errors, which are factors in cancer, aging, and other health issues”. - DNA Found to Have "Impossible" Telepathic Properties - Posted by Rebecca Sato - Source: ACS’ Journal of Physical Chemistry B
I feel we are just starting to understand through science but science must be balanced by spirit so to intuitively feel this information, meditate on it and studying it allows for deeper integration.
The snake medicine within this mandala is powerful and offers a lot of protection whilst you navigate through information within your DNA.
Another important aspect of the snake medicine that this mandala is offering is the ability to sense vibrations at a deeper level than before. Moving into the world of ‘feeling’. This is definitely where I am comfortable. Working from my solar plexus, I ‘feel’ everything.
I actually imagine all of my mandalas as a particular sound depending upon their geometric configuration and the colours used. Basically, cymatics but within a frequency range unknown, although, I’d love to find out! I cannot hear these sounds through my ears but I can definitely feel them vibrating through my body.
Snakes are Masters of sensing vibrations. They have no ears but they do have tiny bones in the head that detect sound. They do hear low frequency sounds and sense all the earth vibrations. All sensory stimulus are vibrations. Light waves, sound waves, tactile and chemical vibrations. The universe is one giant cosmic ocean of vibrations and the snake medicine helps us to get in touch with the vibrations around us.
If it is right for you, the Snake energy opens your Chakras, particularly the Base Chakra activating a “Kundalini Awakening”.
Snake wisdom comes with very potent lessons. We encourage you to keep a journal of your journey toward transformation when snake wisdom enters your life.
Remember, as a snake sheds its skin it always re-emerges whole and so shall you.
