2012 is a year of prophesy and far reaching changes for both the living planet and us her children. At the Winter Solstice we reach the end of a cycle of time marked by the end of the Mayan Long Count and the beginning of a new era of rapid evolution in human consciousness. The transition involves the end of the 5th Sun, the present era and the birth of a new Sun, the 6th Sun Of Flowers. The nature of this long awaited transition is unprecedented in our recorded history and is likely to be rapid and far reaching, involving changes in the nature of the sun and earth that will transform the face of the planet and the nature of the reality that we experience.

We have the opportunity of returning and connecting with our roots from which we the ‘modern humans’ have been artificially separated. This reconnection is a necessary step in order for us to move forward and evolve. We cannot do this unless we understand and integrate where we have come from. Our root is the earth there was a time when all humans were connected to and moved with Her changing rhythms and through her were connected to the web of livingness. This new time now demands this return.

This workshop focuses on the connection between human consciousness and the intent and nature of calendars, comparing the meaning and purpose of the Mayan Sacred Counts with our own Gregorian Calendar. It will explore the voices of the Living Maya and their views on the coming Shift of Ages. Exploring how we might prepare for this transition by aligning with our true nature and the living intelligence of the earth, through ancient shamanic teachings, practical exercises, body and DNA activations and individual ceremony that will help us awaken to the new possibilities presented by this monumental shift.

Participants are invited to attend a sweatlodge ceremony which will take place during the workshop.
